Our Commitment to Respecting the Environment: Recognition by the Green Key Label
In the hotel industry, environmental responsibility has never been more important and is now a central focus, reflecting not only increased global awareness but also high expectations on the part of our guests. We are proud to announce today that we have recently been awarded the Green Key certification, a distinction that recognises our commitment to sustainable hotel practices. This distinction is the result of teamwork and the implementation of several concrete initiatives aimed at reducing our ecological impact while offering our guests a respectful and enriching experience.

1. Recycling used soap
At our establishment, we have implemented a programme to recycle soap used in guest rooms through the company UNIOAP. Once these hygiene products have served their initial purpose, they are collected and processed to give them a second life. This process not only contributes to significantly reducing the waste generated by our activity, but also demonstrates our commitment to rethinking our resources and actively participating in a circular economy.
2. Composting of bio-organic waste
In a complementary approach, our bio-organic waste from the kitchen is now recycled through a composting process. Some of this compost is used to enrich the soil in our vegetable garden, creating a virtuous ecosystem that reduces our carbon footprint and contributes to local biodiversity. The rest of the compost is collected by the company UNIFER and will be transformed into biogas.

3. Our home vegetable garden
We are proud of our ecological approach, and our home vegetable garden illustrates our commitment to promoting sustainable food. By growing strawberries, tomatoes and mint directly on our property, we reduce our dependence on long distribution channels and minimise our carbon footprint. These fresh and tasty products enrich our breakfast buffet, offering our guests local and seasonal dishes, grown with love and respect for the environment.
4. Promotion of local products
Our breakfast buffet also showcases local products, carefully selected from producers and artisans in the region. This initiative supports the local economy, reduces emissions linked to food transport and guarantees our guests products of unrivalled freshness and quality. By choosing local, we are contributing to more responsible consumption and promoting the gastronomic heritage of our region.

5. Option not to clean rooms
With a view to conserving resources, we offer our guests the option of not having their rooms cleaned daily. This option allows for significant savings in water and energy, while responding to our guests' desire to actively participate in our environmental efforts. This simple but impactful gesture is part of our commitment to providing a hotel experience that respects the environment and its finite resources.
6. Use of presence detectors
In order to optimise our energy consumption, our establishment is equipped with presence detectors. These devices help to reduce energy consumption in common areas. This technology is proving to be a valuable ally in our quest for energy efficiency and reducing our ecological footprint.

7. Environmental monitoring and maintenance
Our housekeeping teams play a crucial role in our environmental approach. Trained to identify and report any water leaks or technical incidents, they contribute to the hotel's preventive maintenance and to reducing energy and water waste. In addition, the exclusive use of eco-labelled cleaning products minimises our impact on the environment, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for our guests and staff.
8. Using a mains-connected water cooler to eliminate plastic bottles
In our ongoing quest to reduce our environmental impact, we have also adopted a sustainable solution for our water supply: the installation of a mains-connected water fountain. This initiative allows us to completely eliminate the use of plastic bottles within our establishment, a giant step forward in the fight against plastic pollution. Customers can now quench their thirst at their convenience, with the guarantee of filtered, fresh, high-quality water, without contributing to the accumulation of plastic waste. This simple but effective measure underlines our commitment to promoting environmentally friendly alternatives in all aspects of our service.

Conclusion
Obtaining the Green Key label is much more than an award; it is recognition of our daily commitment to sustainable development and respect for the environment. Through these actions, we seek not only to minimise our ecological impact, but also to raise awareness among our customers and partners of the importance of responsible behaviour. We invite you to join us in our efforts by staying with us and enjoying an experience that reflects your values and respect for the planet.
